Frequently Asked Questions

Can one create macros/scripts for more complex commands?

Yes. The most basic command is sending a single key (e.g., play, stop, pause, etc.). If you have a more complex command that involves multiple keys, or a specific sequence of keys, the software contains a script editor to handle this.

The script editor allows you to arrange multiple IR keys, delays and even RS-232 commands in a line-by-line format. For more information on how to use the script editor, consult the ZIR-232 User's Guide. This guide is available for download from our "downloads" section of the ZON website.
