ZON ZAS-430 Is 2006 CES Innovations Award Winner
World's first all-digital distributed audio system accorded another industry award.
5 January 2006
(Las Vegas, NV) – As part of the International CES Innovations Design and Engineering Awards program, the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) and Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) have recognized the ZON ZAS-430 whole house digital music system as being among the best designed and engineered audio products for 2006.
A preeminent panel of judges selected the ZAS-430 for this prestigious honor based on the following weighted criteria: user value, aesthetics, contribution to the quality of life and innovative design qualities.
Slated for market release in Spring 2006, the ZAS-430 system lets consumers distribute up to four unique audio sources to six different listening zones throughout their home. In instances where more than six different listening zones are required, the system is stackable and expandable to meet most any design requirements.
About the ZON ZAS-430 Whole House Digital Music System
The ZON Whole House Digital Music System is a kit of components that allow the consumer to distribute up to four unique audio sources to six different listening zones throughout their home. In instances where more than six different listening zones are required, the system is stackable and expandable to meet most any design requirement.
Built on ZON's revolutionary all-digital architecture, consumers can enjoy the rich quality and tonal accuracy of digital audio virtually anywhere in their home. By using ZON's innovative, simple-to-use graphical interface or ZSR-4 system remote, consumers can easily select what source they want to hear, adjust the volume and, if desired, select the tone and EQ settings to enhance their listening experience.
Designed for the mass and specialty retail markets, this system comes with easy-to-install components so that both integrators and consumers can quickly and economically install it into homes. Plus, the ZAS-430 features many high-performance features not usually found in entry level systems.
The Innovations Design and Engineering Award is based upon descriptive materials submitted to the judges. CEA did not verify the accuracy of any submission or of any claims made and did not test the item to which the award was given.
