ZON Audio Featured in Southern Living Idea House

World's first all-digital distributed audio system is on display in Idea House near Orlando

(Birmingham, AL) – Oxmoor Corporation, a world leader in the development of high performance audio products, today announced that its all-digital ZON Audio system is featured in Southern Living's Idea House in the Victoria Park community in Deland, Florida (between Orlando and Daytona Beach).

The ZON system features attractive ZON Audio components in every room of the house to provide both music and information about the home for visitors taking the tour.

"We have had experience in developing systems that guide walking tours in museums and similar facilities. While this isn't exactly like that, there are many similarities in the way a sound system of this type would be designed," said Lynn McCroskey, president and CEO of Oxmoor Corporation, and also the man who conceived and developed ZON Audio.

"The ZON system is easy to configure so as to provide customized sound in any or all of the rooms simultaneously," McCroskey said. "It can be used to provide different music to each room, tour-audio specific to each listening zone; it can be used to provide a common audio output to all points in the home, or it can simultaneously distribute any combination of connected audio sources to any listening zone," he added.

"Being from the south, we have a special affinity for Southern Living – it is an iconic publication for our region of the country and we're truly honored to have an opportunity to display ZON Audio in their Idea House," McCroskey concluded.

The system includes all of ZON's signature products including the ZAC-60 audio controllers, ZIM-4 input modules and the ZR-98 Router in addition to other components of what is still the only 100% digital whole house audio system on the market today.

Tours of the 2005 Southern Living Idea House began on June 11 and will run through October 2. The home will be featured in the August edition of Southern Living.
